Board of Governors

President – Elect
Sarah Davis, DO is board certified in Family Medicine and Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. Dr. Davis serves as the Associate Dean of Osteopathic Integration and Associate Professor of Osteopathic Principles & Practice at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Davis graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. She also serves as an affiliate faculty member at Family Medicine Residency of Idaho. 

President 
Benjamin Wilde, DO, FAAFP, is an AOBFP board-certified osteopathic family physician. He is the Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences at Rocky Vista University – Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVU-MCOM) in Billings, MT. Previously, Dr. Wilde served as the Vice Chair of the Primary Care Department at RVUCOM-Utah Campus. Dr. Wilde  practiced medicine in rural Worland, Wyoming, where he acted as site lead physician and director of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation.  

Past- President
Matthew Told, D.O. was the inaugural President of the ACOFP-MW Regional Society. He is an AOBFP board-certified  physician practicing full-scope rural family medicine in Grangeville, Idaho while also serving as the CMO at Syringa Hospital.  Dr. Told graduated from NSUCOM in 2008 and completed his family medicine residency in Rapid City, SD where he focused on surgical procedures and operative During his off times he likes spending time with his children, in a variety of outdoor sporting activities.

Vice President 
Carol Penn, DO is board-certified by the AOBFP. Dr. Penn is the Director of Tracks & Electives at the Rocky Vista University – Montana College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Penn’s career has been marked by a focus on prevention and wellness, beginning with her time in the National Health Service Corps. In this role, she served as Medical Director and Director of Service Integration for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in North Philadelphia,

Treasurer/ Secretary
Brian Rodgers, DO is an AOBFP board-certified osteopathic family physician. Dr. Rodgers launched Longevity Medicine in Woods Cross, UT after 30 years of practicing family medicine in Bountiful, UT.  Dr. Rodgers graduated from Kansas City University in 1994, and then completed residency from Tucson General Hospital. Prior to joining the board of ACOFP-MW, Dr. Rodgers served on the Utah Osteopathic Medical Association (UOMA) Board for eight years including two terms as president. 

Governor
Steve Babcock, DO is board-certified by the AOBFP. Dr. Babcock practices rural osteopathic family medicine in Mountain View, WY emphasizing preventive care and OMT. He attended medical school at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine and was in their second graduating class. He completed residency at Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He and his family enjoy hiking, snowshoeing, and kayaking together. He has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America and as an assistant wrestling coach. He learned to speak Mandarin Chinese during a mission in Taiwan.

Governor
Loren Colson, DO 
is a board-certified family physician practicing full spectrum Family Medicine including obstetrics in Boise, ID. Dr. Colson graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and completed his residency at Full Circle Health in 2018, where was hired as faculty.  He is also adjunct faculty at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine where he teaches OMM.Dr. Colson and his wife enjoy biking on the greenbelt, the Boise foothills, or somewhere in the Idaho wilderness with their two German Shepherds.

Governor
Mark Wardle, DO is a board-certified family physician. Dr. Wardle currently serves as Vice Chair of the Primary Care Department and Director of the Global Medicine Track at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic – Uta campus. He graduated from Touro University California in 2005 and completed his Family Medicine residency at Utah Valley Hospital.  Medicine. He is passionate about global health initiatives and medical education.

Resident Governor
Joel Ross, DO, PGY III, is currently a resident at the Montana Family Medicine Residency at Riverstone Health in Billings, MT, where he serves as a lead resident for the Class of 2025. He earned his DO degree from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, NM. His medical interests include family medicine, wilderness medicine, integrative medicine, osteopathic medicine, and functional medicine. 

Student Governor
Ciara Rob, OMS IV, is a student at the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine – Utah campus. She aspires to match into a residency program that will allow her to receive full scope Family Medicine training in preparation for practicing in a rural underserved area. Ciara serves on the national ACOFP Board as the Student Governor. Ciara enjoys running, hiking, camping, backpacking, climbing, and fishing, which she finds essential for maintaining a balanced and fulfilling life.

Ex-Officio Governor
David J. Park, DO, FAAFP, FACOFP dist. is Past-President of the national ACOFP and spearheaded the formation of ACOFP-MW, the first regional society for ACOFP. Dr. Park graduated from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his family medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY. Dr. Park is dedicated to medical education and leadership development and continues to be an active in many state and national medical organizations.  

Executive Director
Susan Park has been serving as the Executive Director since its inception. She graduated from the State University of New York in Stony Brook in 1990 with a degree in music as a classical pianist.  Being the spouse of an osteopathic family physician, Susan  has attended  nearly every ACOFP  conference for the past 20 years. She loves osteopathic family medicine due the holistic approach and use of OMT.  Susan also serves at the national level as the President of the Auxiliary to the ACOFP.
